Bholu – The Badmash is a tale set amidst the arid stretches of a village in Rajasthan. Some of you may wonder what made me switch over from romance stories set in western parts of the world to this one closer home. Well, those who were present at the book launch of ‘Scrambled Love’ will remember Padma Shri, Dr. C.P. Deval suggested that I should take up my pen to craft stories rooted in our desert’s sand. He mentioned that being a Rajasthani, the khejri tree should find a special place in my writings.

With my greatest regards, I present this e-series as a tribute to a great author, Deval Sir who is an inspiration to me.

The story of Bholu will unravel in parts, in the style of a series, at regular intervals following the fashion of Charles Dickens’ famous novels published as serialized instalments in newspapers or periodicals.

Dear readers, you’re invited to hark the call of the great Indian desert and partake of the charm, food and magic of the land. The language is simple, and lucid just like how you and I prefer it to be. And, of course you will find a splattering of the local language here and there to enhance the flavour. Please don’t forget to share your valuable feedback because after all ‘authors love reviews’. I’ll look forward to hearing from you. You can also mail me: elvifernandez08@gmail.com Happy reading!
