Aye halo to our hearts
All year, we dream of these nine precious nights,
when hearts forget their worries,
souls take flight.
We dawn clothes that sparkle and shine so bright,
and count each day until that first dandiya light.
From child to grandparent, we all feel the same
This magic pulls us into joy’s sweet game.
We bow in prayer, then let the music start
With dandiya sticks and garba’s graceful art.

“Aye halo”! Echoes as our spirits’ glow
But oh, how fast these golden moments fly?
Till next Navratri our heart will softly cry.
