Balance
BALANCE in day-to-day activity, action is a must. Balance does not mean equal quantity, what I mean to
say maintain a balance. The Almighty himself has created a balance between day & night. Yes, according to
the seasons: Summer/ Winter / Autumn/ Spring, one may say: Days are longer than nights, the balance is
maintained by shorter days and longer nights.
While flying from Delhi to Toronto: what I observed from the flight by night all countries are alike. At night
look at the illuminated town. The gold, ruby, emerald, diamond studded street: yellow street light, red
symbolise the rear side of vehicles or Sign posts, diamonds are the white lights. If the plane meanders or
descends the streets appear straight/curved. The topography or the master plan of the town is very vivid.
This is exactly what I felt, while flying from Delhi to Mumbai. Guess!! Christmas Eve.
The ocean the sea was the same. One could think of a necklace, bracelet, danglers.
Red lights, golden street lights the high rise, obviously hotels/ residential high rise with white lights
swinging with the strong tide appear like danglers. Having studied Geography and then masters In English
my language matches with the two subjects mentioned.
Flying through the clouds, what a sight and then on the flight I started revising my lessons on clouds. We
would be lying on our beds, out in the open. Summer nights/ holidays, partly moon lit night. Types of
clouds, floating in a particular direction.
Read the wind direction and what!! The seven stars lost in the clouds. Wait, losing patience was not in the
game. There appear the seven stars. Lost in the clouds, Toronto / Alwar House garden made no difference.
Which country are we crossing, God knows. Calculating the time, guessing the country. Whiling away the
time.

Looking down trying to guess the country, mountain, crust, plain. My eyes burning tears rolling down my
cheeks. It is slightly more than two am. Instead of a dark night, suddenly turns bright, looking for the Sun.
The date does not change. We started from Delhi on the 17th. It appears we have spent one day and two
nights on the plane. The pilot announces the descend. Get back to your seats: fastened seat belts and within
five minutes the plane touched the runway.
What a smooth landing. The pilot Mr. X needs a pat on the back. Long morning walk started and we were at
the immigration centre. Compared to 2013 when we first came to Canada, the technology had drastically
changed. At the conveyor belt the suit cases and bags lost the balance. Imagine a family of eight members:
three generations in a row. Family planning observed but life expectancy increased, the balance was not
maintained.
Where is the balance......??? No… No we will have to maintain a balance. Summer winter imbalance. Carry
less and travel light. Repeating the dresses is no crime. Brain & Brain
Odd combination, Oh!!! It is fashion. Most needed is the BALANCE.
