Beauty in being Different
Four rose bushes were fighting in an old garden when the old Oak tree was awakened by their noise.
“What’s wrong?” asked the tree.
The first bush dressed in all red said, “They are jealous of me and are fighting with me."
The old tree asked the others, “What are you jealous of?”
The other bushes dressed in pink, yellow and white said, "He is loved and pampered a lot. He steals the show always."
The old Oak tree burst into laughter and said, “Relax and sit down. Now hear me speak carefully. We all are here in this old garden together but do we all look, feel or smell alike?”

"Nooo... we don’t," said the four rose bushes.
The tree said, "I am so old still I have a value of my own, the shelter I give is priceless. Similarly, something is unique in you all."
Then the white one asked, "So my unique quality will be the symbol of purity and innocence?"
The yellow one said, "I am a symbol of friendship, joy and delight.”
The pink one excitingly said, "I add sweetness and grace."
The old Oak tree said, “So now do you realize that you all are unique and beautiful in your own way? Learn to admire the difference and appreciate the beauty of everything each one of you can contribute.”
