Bye-Bye and Welcome
Bye-Bye first and then Welcome or Welcome first and then Bye-Bye. The two have altogether, two different meanings or interpretations. Well, for me Bye-Bye 2023 and Welcome 2024. I am fully contented and I thoroughly enjoyed 2023. Yes, with my maturity and practical experience life is like a seesaw.
Latest event was the State Assembly Elections. Being a Senior Citizen and that too who has always held responsibility as my first priority, I was very excited. Date, conversing, casting of vote and obviously the result. Well! Everything got over! I am not going to list events. My holiday trip to Dev Bhoomi, can you guess? It is Uttarakhand. It was a multipurpose visit... Wedding, socialising and exploring. Nature
was at its best. The blue sky as if painted. Well, that’s because of no or zero pollution.
The wedding was neither of Himachal nor of Uttarakhand. The family belonged to an area called Sirmaur. Oh My God! What glamour, simplicity, unity and... I’m running short of adjectives. It was the most memorable event. Overflowing with love and affection. One surprise for me and for the readers who are part and parcel of the Pen In-sight, for Elvira too, she is a seasoned lady. I too got an opportunity to do kavya paath. Good number of poets. Well! Full of applause. I came home and patted my back. Educationists are ready to take challenges and out shine others.

I was very fortunate to visit Nathdwara. It was a wedding of my neighbour ‘s son. Hotel Radisson. We could view the Statue of Belief - Lord Shiva’s Bronze statue. From tourist point of view - serene environment, lush green surroundings, museum, and local transport. Unimaginable comfort and was reminded of my visit to Statue of Unity of Sardar Vallabhai Patel near Kevaria in Gujarat. I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend others to take a trip.
Before we welcome 2024, let me scroll the mouse of my keyboard. Oh yes! Two nights and three days at Valley View Resort... Comfort, cuisines and sightseeing. Udaipur for me is a second home. The trip was a memorable one like the above visits I have mentioned earlier in this Bye-Bye and Welcome. I think I have a travel list for 2024 also. Travel enriches ones mind, and communication is another tool to help you grow and enjoy. Life is to live and enjoy and it is like a seesaw.
