Cycled back
Big gates was what my little eyes saw
Louder cries which filled my parents with awe
Yes I’m talking about the day when I entered my school
For me my initial days weren’t cool
As time passed that little one started settling
She had no clue of how her journey here was unfolding
Cleared her primary, middle and higher secondary
Who knew after this she would set off being independent whether it be her food, academics or even laundry

Then came a phase where we had in our hands to decide what to opt for career
The choices were to be made wisely as we didn’t want it to be a barrier
Days of filling of college forms, searching for hostels were followed by home sickness
Asked my DAD: You didn’t have to do such hectic procedures of online forms?
To my surprise he reverted, saying ‘we just stood outside the school gate in line for your admission from 2 a.m. to complete the norms.’
I realised it’s all cycling back according to the karma rule as we didn’t face the odds they faced but different ones!
