Dear Teacher
You spread love,
you spread affection,
and have with every student, a deep connection.
You give us wings and courage to fly,
to roar and soar high in the sky.
No matter how tired you are,
your lessons are always energetic and fun,
for us dear ma'am, you are the definition of the ideal one.
A smile of yours makes our day,
may you always wear that, we pray.
What you mean to us, can't be expressed in words,
the phrase ‘thank you’ isn't enough for your efforts.

Samridhi Chauhan of Grade X is a budding poet who loves to read and write. She also loves to explore and learn as she believes that failure is the key to success. She’s an extrovert with an interest in public speaking and debating. She aims to make this world a happy place by her poems.
