Guru
गुरुर ब्रह्मा... गुरुर विष्णु... गुरुर देवो महेश्वरः ... गुरुः साक्षात्परब्रह्मा तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः !
Guru is a teacher whose verses are sung from time immemorial. A teacher is he who helps in the birth of the mind and realization of one's self. Who is our part of being, a teacher who plays educator, parent, mentor, counselor, friend, a living idol and a true treasure. I bow down to that Guru whose glory is praised by the vedas and whose feet are worshiped even by God.
I remember when I was in standard IV my Mathematics teacher told the students that ‘the actual race between students it's not about winning or losing but it's about persevering’. This memory of her is with me and will stay with me always. Even today this statement has great significance for me; it inspires me to keep moving.
The teacher is the one who has the magic to leave spirited imprints for time infinite.
