Honeycomb days
In remembrance of those good old days when going to Grandma's
house was a thing of the most value. When the only
thing to worry about was how to create more space
in our shrivelled, underprivileged stomachs, that used
to get all its nutrition during some time of
the good old summer holidays. When dancing
in the rain and croaking with all our sweet voices
would not bring us unintended imprisonment, we would
play games for the first time in many months, eat ice creams
and sneak out of bed in the dead of night, but now
when I turn to look for my grandma again, I find her footsteps
missing. I realize how I have left my childhood behind.
