Hope replaces Despair

End of 2022, beginning of 2023! OH MY GOD...!
Death and despair! Never can we/ I imagine. The Pandemic 19! NO....NO.
Old age, long illness, vegetative state, such were the deaths announced,
mobile calls. I prayed with folded hands, gasping for not breath but for hope
death should not be the opponents communication.

One, two... more than eight. Hospitalisation / discharged, recovery... hope, hope. Every dark night has a day... fresh morning, the flickering not the flame of the candle but life. One can survive. Hope has strength, courage like silence: positivity, acceptance.

First January, beginning of 2023, expecting Hope will console my heart, no, it was the same as the end of 2022. Oh! Hope can you bless us/me. I have faith in the cycle of change. It is inevitable, celebration of the New Year, festivals... Many Festivals, One Name: INDIA . Wishing everyone a very happy Bihu /Lohri / Makar sankranti /Pongal.

Birthdays, engagements, registered marriage.....now even the regular auspicious marriage season, bhumi poojas, sale and purchase of old and new properties. Watching/ viewing Idiot Box, new serials. Looking forward to publications, Book Launch, Republic Day celebrations......Hope has replaced Despair.

My strong faith has replaced despair. The sky is clear, strong very strong, oh... the chill ....fingers freezing, watering eyes, running nose, rosy parched cheeks...
Hope has to and will replace Despair.
Bye-bye, bye-bye...Despair.
