Journeying

Yatra: religious or social, be it for God or your personal life, celebration leads to anand and enjoyment. In both you need company. Religious... you enjoy when one has good companions, relatives, friends, close associates. Well there is more pleasure and fun when in real life you have the same. Come on, first comes God, the Creator.

Amaranth ji Yatra. It always reminds me of the Pandemic. No pilgrims, still the Holy Shrine was well guarded by the armed forces. Hats off to our warriors who during the month of July... temperature in the morning five degrees and at five Thirty and at four in the evening six degrees. The Pandits clad in woollens, pilgrims with jackets and hoods, body heat flowing from the mouth as if smoking... Chanting of the mantras!

There stands Baba made of Ice: i e. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in a cave. Oh!! God’s creation! The Mountain range, the variety of stone, the clear blue sky, the rising sun glowing on the peaks, as if plated with gold, tiers of rocks, waterfalls, frozen streams, polar bears, pigeons not visible with the naked eye. Thanks and gratitude to Shraddha MHI channel. The terrain is difficult but the pilgrims move together and chanting the mantra gives them strength and courage.

I have on the other side the social aspect of Happy Birthday. Greetings and celebrations! Oh!!! What fun and enjoyment. Gifts and blessings, hugs and kisses. How young have you turned? “SEVENTY FIVE (75)”. Oh!! Your sweet smiling countenance. Great, I was at this birthday party, Dr. Pushpa my ex-colleague.
The thrill and excitement meeting my other colleagues, some in their ten short of a century.

Laughing, singing, eating, gifting, hugging, dancing. Age was no bar. Delicious food and drinks, cold water, soup. Hospitality of the host, her niece and nephews, the servers of the restaurant. Mouth fresheners, bye-bye , namaste, see you soon!
Memorable celebrations. CELEBRATIONS and CELEBRATIONS...Life goes on, ticking of the clock... Hope the Celebrations will go on. God... Thank you! Praise to the Lord!
