Lollapalooza Year

In the penultimate month, we find our way,
A season of gratitude in the heart's display.
Mellow fruitfulness fills the orchard's embrace,
As last year's adventures left their trace.

Amidst the losses, through life's tempestuous tide,
I found solace in nature, where my tears couldn't hide.
The sun, a friend, dried the trails on my face,
While the moon, a confidant, listened to me in grace.

With dreams that took flight on the wings of the night,
On the terrace, I pondered, the world out of sight.
When the sun and the moon, in the sky, did entwine,
They shared in my joy, and secrets, so fine.

And when the weather turned gloomy, the world called it a twist,
A solar eclipse, they said, with the moon gently kissed.
But I believe in the magic, in the midst of the strife,
When the night-blooming cereus blossoms, and they share life.
