Magnificent Monsoons
Yeah!!! It’s that time of the year again when the pitter - patter of raindrops on the roofs of our houses, the sweet smell of soil, greenery all around is enough to light up the dark mood. It’s the Rainy Season!
With Rainy Season come so many memories. I still remember the joy and satisfaction dancing in the rain gave… From making small paper boats and sailing them in the rainwater, to that sweet craving to eat a ‘bhutta’ dressed with lemon juice, salt, chili powder and pepper. These days are a synonym to joy and happiness.
I also fondly remember those school days when a holiday was announced due to heavy rains taking our happiness to another level. I remember keeping our books in polythene bags so that they may not get ruined by the rain. I also have fond memories of the joy of attending school on a rainy day when the strength was next to half and to be honest, for me those was the most special and memorable days as we actually got to spend time with our teachers. Usually on those days lectures were postponed and that was the time when we really enjoyed in the campus…
Lastly, going trekking during these days is like the cherry on top of the cake. Definitely these are some of the best moments of the season… Wishing everyone a very Happy Monsoon!
