Monsoon
Under the canopy of black clouds
Down came the tiny rain drops
Tinkle-tinkle on my eyes and face
Oh! What fun it is, the Monsoon!
The pearls embedded green carpet
The pearls embedded flowers
The pearls embedded hedges
Oh! What fun it is, the Monsoon!
Coloured umbrellas, Raincoats
Gum boots, bubble gum mouths
The kids dance to the tune of rain
Oh! What fun it is, the Monsoon!
In puddles of glittering moss
Sail the coloured boats
Down comes the heavy shower
Oh! What fun it is, the Monsoon!
