Pawfection
Our family are the heartened and proud humans of our dogs. For they aren't just pets but the chaos, the pulse and the comfort of our household.
Our first one being Mac, a tender-pawed Labrador. He's a floppy-eared angel who's now a wise oldie, but forever, he's our hazel-eyed baby. His fur shines like an agile ocean under the sunny sky. He's always panting restlessly, which I believe is one of his anxious instincts. His tail is like the thick aquatic forelimbs of an octopus. His nose is the color of coffee.
Then we have Danny, our alert and intuitive hybrid Pitbull. He's lean, agile, and fearless — a handsome heart-stealer. But behind that masculine gaze lies an innocent whelp, who once stepped into our house with rosy pink paws and took over our hearts. That curious little creature, who tilted his head on every unusual sound — Danny was the cutest baby boy.
I grew up with Mac and Danny, and as soon as I hit my teens, another baby came. 16th April 2022 — we named him after Michael Jackson. "Michael" but I like to call him "Chiku" He's a brown and raven-black dashchund, a breed which forever stays small. He's the size of a fat bunny but has the confidence of a mighty lion. His fur has a healthy sheen and shimmers in the sun. He's majestic, fearless, very selective with his people, and is loud in spirit. He's the complete rebel of the household. His favorite older brother, Danny, is playful yet very gentle with him.
Then Mac had kids with a female Pitbull, blessing us with nine kindred souls, who were all given away to relatives — but we kept our favorite one, Bruce. He's a black-ink-dipped darling, as dark as a moonless night. He's too cute to compute everything around him. With his slim limbs, he walks like a little jaguar. He's an adorable nonsense on four legs — a very lovable innocent fool. Bruce and Danny always fight.
Our family is incomplete without our fur babies. They are the heartbeat and pulse of our lives.
