Reminiscence
The blazing heat and scorching sun
was a sign of happy summer days then,
the reason for joy could be guessed
as the school closed for happy vacations.
The Choo-Choo train whistled in
Whoo-Whoo it screamed as we clambered in,
Summer's colourful plumage spread its wing
A clan of musketeers had many playful schemes.
The joyous journey did begin
As the train was bid a cheery goodbye.

Our Imperial Palace, surely for few days.
Now I pen down the saga of joy
Of the days that have just passed by!
The trail of reminiscent days is all I feel
Which in the blink of an eye seem to have gone by.
With teary eyes and a reminiscent nose
I peep through the summer days.
The blazing heat and scorching sun still shines
But alas! The happy journey long did end.
The Choo-choo train is a far off dream,
The abode of happiness I no longer tread...
