Shading awake
A little piece of it, fading since the start,
In dotted lines, a date I noted, etched in heart.
Time tiptoes, late and kind,
Whispers of existence, a cosmic bind.
The world moves slow, a silent roar,
Layers of dusk, my part, my core.
I breathe out, a shout to the void,
Claiming victories for dreams deployed.

I glance down the steps, a shore unseen,
Simple flames dance, fierce and keen.
I ask, sit quietly, laughter spills,
In shadows, an art, the universe thrills.
Life pulses, hope alive, I strive,
Yet the end looms, shading awake, afar, apart.
A canvas of beginnings and farewells,
In twilight's embrace, we find our hearts.
