Summer is fun

Cold drink, mango shake, cold coffee, floating ice cream, raw mango shake
Milkshake, cold milk, lassi - sweet or salted, chocolate shake, juices
Orange, lemon, papaya, banana, pear, cherry bite, crunchy blueberry
Watermelon shake, strawberry shake, chilled rose shake, sugarcane juice.

Summer is fun and who says, “Oh!! It is too hot”. Plunge in the pool
A stroll under the trees, cool breeze, lying by the side of a bush
Stretching and rolling on the lush green lawns, children or adults
Such is the state of humans, May is the month, waiting for June.

Few are fortunate, away from the concrete jungle, depends metro
Or Country side. Village life is like a cool station. Hill stations are hell.
Congestion and heavy traffic. Jostling on the streets. Save the sunshine
Twilight is fun. Twinkling star studded sky, summer is enjoyment and fun.

Common dining table, sparrows, pigeons, bulbul, crows, eating healthy
Squirrel, the most disciplined of all munching, jumping having fun, enjoying
Summer is fun. A bowl of water resting on a wall is not only for parching throats
It is bath tub, a dip and off they fly, prune their feathers, summer is fun.

Dogs keep a vigil by night but mornings on a mound of sand is a cosy bed.
Do they need air conditioners??? Who cares for power cuts? Oh!! The cattle
specially buffaloes can be seen enjoying their bath in a pond. The evening
food is ready in a huge bowl. Night falls and masters put on the cooler for them.
