To Ma'am Elvira
To dear ma'am Elvira,
You have always been a support system,
you have always stood for me,
you have always encouraged me ,
you have always enlightened me .
Every time I was in dilemma,
I found you there for me.
From that stage fear to full confidence gear.
You were there for me.
From boring classes to jovial English classes,
with children always giving their expert advice.
Every time I stood before you,
I found something new.
From winning the thrilling stage round quiz,
from Budding Bards to school magazine ,
from preparing the debate anchoring script
to gearing up the courage to approach a teacher,
you were there with me.
How can I forget the time,
when I felt lost among the crowd,
and you told me that ‘there is no word like failure ,
either you win or learn, but never fail or lose ,
you are never a loser.
And sometimes being a learner is much better
than to be a winner’.
Your sight always makes me feel that:
“I am imperfectly perfect in my perfectly
imperfect life” (anonymous)
These six months seem to be more than six years,
you have always embellished me,
Can't thank you enough for your support.
